French and Italian for holidays

Today is the first day of August and here in the South East of England, the sun is still shining! :) August is the most popular time of year for families, couples and individuals to take off on holiday abroad, to discover new places and cultures and to relax in new surroundings.

If you are planning on travelling to France or Italy this summer, I can provide you with some essential basic French or Italian phrases and grammatical structures so that you are able to make yourself understood in typical holiday situations.

We can learn and practice: greetings, ordering food and drinks, finding your way around, paying for goods and services and asking for help. You won’t be able to learn the whole language in a few weeks but you can certainly grasp some important basics, master pronunciation and become familiar with everyday vocabulary and phrases. This would provide a firm foundation for future language-learning endeavours or top-up lessons as and when required.

If you would like to book a session with a friendly tutor, send an email to me at: for a no-obligation consultation and advice.

I hope to hear from you soon!
