I am very proud to be a Career Affiliate Member of the British Institute for Translation and Interpreting (www.iti.org) and I always work in accordance with their Code of Conduct. I am also an active member of the Proz online translator community where my Certified PRO status is currently pending. (www.Proz.com)

Qualifications

  • Masters in Translation with Language Technology specialising in French and Italian – 2012, Swansea University
  • Post-Graduate Certificate of Education specialising in French and Italian – 2010, Bristol University
  • Bachelor of Arts Joint Honours specialising in French and Italian – 2008, Cardiff University
  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate 1 – 2006, Cardiff University
  • Europass Language Passport – 2008, ECTARC
  • I invested a great deal of time and capital in my education and, as a result, I graduated with impressive marks from three prestigious British universities; Cardiff University, Bristol University and Swansea University. I spent my ERASMUS year studying at the Université de Savoie in western France, at the Istituto Venezia and the Centro Fiorenza in northern Italy. In 2011, I was awarded a scholarship to study in China at Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Whilst at these educational institutions, amongst other subjects, I studied: French and Italian Language, Computer-Assisted Translation Tools, History of Translation, French and Italian Culture, French and Italian Literature, Italian Women’s Literature, European Cinema, Geography, Language and Communication, Philosophy, French and Italian Translation.
